Number 10 is very important and remembering that you are not alone like you say. Love can hurt, but is 'it better to love and be loved than never to have loved.'
I have also learned that true love does know how to let go. When you find yourself in a relationship that ends and it hurts. is that hurt coming from the change that is going on and the habits you have with this person. It is hard to start over, but at the same time if you truely love someone and they are going to be happier with life moving on, you let them go realizing that you are not meant for them and they are doing you a favor by moving on. There is that other right person just waiting to meet you.
Most of the time the change is what hurt, because true love like I said whats the other persons happiness before there own.
i do like your tips and the burning of old memories is a great start,.
